      17D: A (terrible experience) + ←(too much)← = A MARE + ←OTT "over-the-top" = AMARETTO

      29A: ORDURE = (primarily dumped) in (yellow) (river) = D_ inside OR "yellow, in heraldry" URE "river in North Yorkshire"
